Berk’s Nest produce live comedy shows that delight audiences on tour across the UK, at the Edinburgh Fringe, in London’s West End, and as specials available to stream across the world.

In 2024, we produced our first West End theatre show, Nick Mohammed’s comedy-musical A Christmas Carol (ish), which played to sold out crowds and rave reviews, starring Nick alongside Ghosts’ Martha Howe-Douglas, Kieran Hodgson, and David Elms.

To date, we’ve produced nearly 150 hilarious, innovative, and ambitious shows at the Edinburgh Fringe including the Edinburgh Comedy Award Winning Richard Gadd: Monkey See, Monkey Do (2016), Rose Matafeo: Horndog (2018), and 2019 Best Newcomer Winner Cat Cohen’s The Twist?… She’s Gorgeous, which later become her first Netflix special. Berk’s Nest has also produced all solo shows from four-time Best Show-nominee Kieran Hodgson, four shows from Best Show nominee Colin Hoult, and Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominated shows from Paddy Young, Sophie Duker, Olga Koch, and Jayde Adams.

On tour, we’ve produced the likes of Kiri Pritchard-McLean & Rachel Fairburn’s All Killa No Filla podcast, Morgan Rees, Nick Mohammed (in the UK and New York), Cat Cohen, Rob Copland’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Panel Prize winning show Gimme (One With Everything), and Emma Sidi’s hugely successful is Sue Gray tour.

Across the UK, Berk’s Nest are one of the leading programmers and bookers for mixed bill shows and festival line-ups, introducing comedy fans to exciting new voices along with household names. Our regular shows at The Clapham Grand, Theatre Royal Stratford East, and Cadogan Hall in London have featured the likes of Sam Campbell, David O’Doherty, Nish Kumar, London Hughes, Phil Wang, Fern Brady, Mawaan Rizwan, Nina Conti, and Tim Key

Our comedy festivals include Roundhouse Comedy Festival, featuring the likes of Katherine Ryan, Reggie Watts, and James Acaster, and The Bush Comedy Festival with Cat Cohen, Sara Pascoe, Simon Amstell, Amy Gledhill, and Desiree Burch.

Spectacular, larger-than-life shows made by Berk’s Nest have included Paul Williams’ live music show Plays The Hits, Max & Ivan’s The Wrestling, which sees the best of the UK comedy scene (including Joe Lycett, Aisling Bea, and Ed Gamble) get into the ring with professional comedians, and Kiell Smith-Bynoe’s hugely successful improv comedy format Kool Story Bro, where Kiell has been joined by the likes of Mo GIlligan, Guz Khan, and Jamie Demitriou. In 2019 and 2022, we worked with Diane Chorley to open The Flick, an iconic purpose-built cabaret venue and late night bar in the middle of the Edinburgh Fringe.

Berk’s Nest shows have become specials for Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBOMax, and the BBC, and we’ve produced audiobooks for Penguin Random House, live-stream shows and specials for NextUp Comedy, and digital content for Channel 4.

Collaborating with the most exciting creative talent, we develop and facilitate incredible comedy shows that showcase our favourite acts to the world.

From new voices to established acts, we support acts that want to bring their next big idea - however bold, daring or seemingly impossible - to life. We’ve produced everything from straight stand-up to West End musicals, and built our very own purpose-built venue The Flick for Diane Chorley’s 2019 Fringe run.

  • Our team has produced nearly 150 hour-long (and longer!) shows, with a proven track record of supporting acts in creating fulfilling, challenging and personal projects that push their careers to the next level.

  • Our approach is holistic and based in creative collaboration, pulling together talented teams - from directors to marketing - to ensure writer-performers feel supported and able to make their best work.

  • Our perspective is long-term, as we guide our acts through developing projects that exceed their expectations, can tour across the world, and are ready to be translated into radio and TV.

We champion a range of voices with different life experiences and points of view. If you feel like you have an idea that you’re itching to explore, get in touch. You can invite us to see you perform, or send us a video.
